⁠Non-slim image deprecation

The non-slim images will be considered deprecated as of December 1st. We will continue publishing them for the near future, but we will eventually switch all images to slim.

Slim images depend on ubi-micro instead of ubi, which reduces risk of outdated system packages that may trigger security scanners.

To switch to slim images, append -slim to the image tag. For example, if you are using 8.3.8-ubi8, switching to 8.3.8-ubi8-slim will switch to the slim image.

⁠Ubuntu and ubi8 deprecation

Ubuntu images and ubi8 images will be deprecated on December 1st and will stop receiving system security updates after that date. Please switch to ubi9-slim images before that date to continue to receive system security updates.
